2004-10-30 - Italian design. Built as 5-octave manual & pull-down pedal - but as CC-c', bottom octave coupled to C-B adding stopped 16' (Italian style)(1/2-comma Kirnberger temperament); when this was not used as a practice organ and was needed more for continuo, the CC-EE basses were eliminated along with the pedalboard and the tuning changed to 1/4-comma meantone. Finally, the compass was reduced to C, D-c', the 8' Principale replaced with a stopped wood flute, and the c' Voce umana eliminated (so now 5 stops, 6 ranks)(now equal temperament). A picture & stoplist of the original version was in TAO c. 1981 - I'll see if I can find it. . The modification from Italian to Germanic positive took place c. 1985. -Database Manager
