2016-01-24 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by T. Bradford Willis, DDS, using information found in "125 Years of Faith: A History Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1868-1993", Austin, Texas.<br><br>The congregation's original name was the Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church of Austin. The name was later changed to the Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Austin. In 1963 the Wicks Opus 3066 organ was rebuilt (by unknown builder) and relocated to the gallery of the new (present) church edifice at 200 West Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas, 78752-1198. -Database Manager
