Notes

2016-03-16 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Scot Huntington, using information found in an un-named publication.

This 46-register organ replaced William A. Johnson Op. 263, 1868 in the large neo-gothic brick edifice constructed ca. 1868. The fate of the Hutchings is unknown as of this writing, but the church installed a new 2-manual Schlicker electro-pneumatic organ in the rear gallery in 1965, "replacing the previous organ located in the chancel". -Database Manager

2020-11-28 - According to the Hutchings opus list as published by Ed Boadway in the Boston Organ Club Newsletter in several installments, the Hutchings was either rebuilt by or replaced by Schlicker. -Jim Stettner
