Notes

2016-04-14 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, based on personal knowledge of the organ.

The organ is in the rear gallery. It was given a used Aeolian-Skinner console with preparations for a sanctuary organ, and 2 ranks added in 1943 by Jason McKown. -Database Manager

2017-05-24 - Updated by Andrew Scanlon, who gave this as the source of the information: I have seen this organ many times, crawled through it, but it had been disconnected since the late 1970s or early 1980s.

The organ still exists mostly intact, though in very poor condition. St. Anne's Parish was closed in 1991. The building was reopened for a period of 3-5 years as a Hispanic branch of St. Mary's Parish but ultimately closed again. Building has been for sale ever since. The windows, pews, and most other furniture have all been removed. Last know, the organ was still present, as witnessed by pictures and videos from Real Estate agents attempting to sell the building. -Database Manager

along the left wall and speaking across the gallery. The console is
in fixed positiotin the center with the organist facing the organ.

Two expression Pedals, the far left and the far right, have been removed
from the console. Two reversible toe studs originally on the console have
also been removed.

added by Jason McKown in the 1943 rebuild and enlargement.
