Notes

2016-06-12 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, using information from this web site: http://fumcgnv.org/MoreFUMC/History/FUMC-HistoryByLimperTo1957.pdf ; pages 24 & 25 of the original book.

A pdf online copy of the church's history states on page 24, "The Ladies Aid Society assisted greatly in the work, assuming the cost of a good part of the furnishings and of a fine new pipe organ." Page 25 had a drawing of the sanctuary interior with the organ facade at front, center. It is not presently known what happened to this organ when they built their 4th edifice in the 1940's and got a new 3-manual Moller. -Database Manager
