Notes

2016-06-23 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, based on information learned from a conversation with Rodney Jantzi in text and photos on Facebook. St. Andrew's has been deconsecrated. Last regular service was on Sunday, December 30th, 2012 The organ was installed at the front on the left side, and had 2 facades - one facing the sanctuary and one facing the nave. The keydesk was attached on the sanctuary side. And online article in the Chatam News (http://www.chathamdailynews.ca/2013/01/22/final-service-held-for-dwindling-congregation) states, "The century-old church in Tilbury offered its dwindling congregation their final service Jan. 9 and then closed the doors." The organ has been safely removed and is in storage pending reinstallation elsewhere. -Database Manager
