2016-06-23 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by Ron Yeater, based on personal knowledge of the organ. <br>Organ originally installed in a theatre in Las Vegas, NM. Much original pipework was replaced by other pipes more suitable to a church, and the percussions (except Chimes) discarded. Organ was removed and parted out in 1966 -Database Manager

Durango, Colorado St. Columba Catholic Church Wicks Organ Co. op. 697,1926 installed here by Smith Gauntt, ca. 1946 1926 resources: 4 ranks: 16 Subbass-flute 97 pipes 1-24 stopped wood, rest open wood 8 Diapason 73 pipes zinc and lead 8 String 73 pipes zinc & lead! 8 Vox Humana 73 pipes reed spread over 2 manuals and pedal in typical theatre fashion 1946 resources: 16 Subbass-Flute 97 pipes 1-24 original, rest Estey Flute d"Amour 8 Diapason 73 pipes original 8 Salicional 73 pipes Estey, zinc & spotted metal, Haskell basses 8 Dulciana 73 pipes Estey, zinc & spotted metal, Haskell basses stop tablets and toe studs for harp,chimes, and toy counter remained on console, but all percussions except chimes were discarded.
