2018-02-23 - Identified through online information from Dave Stevens. -- Updated by Dave Stevens, who has heard or played the organ. Dave Stevens also listed this individual as a source of information: Janis Ruhlman, organist emeritus 1957-1995.

I was organist here from mid-1995 through early 1998. I was able to examine the organ as well as the rebuild contract drawn up by Tellers Organ Co and Po-Chedley & Son, dated 1961. From memory, the organ appeared to have been originally eight ranks, enlarged to 11 with the addition of a III Mixture to the swell. A 16' half-length Fagot extension to the swell 8' Hautbois was incorporated. The swell 8' Gedeckt is wood from notes 1-37, and turns to a metal harmonic flute for the remainder of the compass. The 8' Salicional and t.c. Vox Celeste appear to remain intact from the 1910 instrument. An extra set of swell shades were added to the side of the swell box just inside and above the small arch. The work description noted that "a very bad 8' Diapason" in the Great would be rescaled and revoiced. The flute and string in that division were also revoiced to some degree. The organ received a detached Klann console that bears a Tellers Organ Co. nameplate, installed out of view at the right of the chancel in a former vestry with the wall cut out. Also noted was Po-Chedley & Son would remove the defunct mechanical carillon from the church's bell tower as part of the payment for the work done to the organ. -Database Manager
