2018-02-22 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by ERIC J GASTIER, who gave this as the source of the information: Schantz Organ Company archives.
This organ is known only through a Schantz contract of 1939 for repair & cleaning work on a two manual tracker instrument of app. 800 pipes. Schantz replaced a 2-2/3' Twelfth with an 8' Dulcissimo, converted a Pedal 8' Flute to a 16' Lieblich Gedeckt, and revoiced the 16' Pedal Bourdon to be louder. Schantz also built new pneumatic chests for these two 16' stops and "regilded" the facade pipes. -Database Manager
