2018-03-05 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.<br> Identified by Paul Marchesano, who gave this as the source of the information: Old Chester PA - website history of Chester, Pennsylvania. There is a photo of the organ with choir here: http://www.oldchesterpa.com/churches/holy_trinity_lutheran_choir.htm.<br>The cornerstone was laid on September 3, 1893, and the first service was held there on January 7, 1894. It is presumed the organ was installed contemporaneously or shortly thereafter.
