2020-09-25 - Originally built by W. W. Kimball Organ and installed in 1940, three-manual tubular pneumatic, probably the last large instrument they built before ceasing operations. In the 1970's Dan Garland (Texas, USA) replaced the Choir division with a new Positiv division. Other than some minor rescaling, the Great/Swell/Pedal remain unaltered. -Jeffery Nall
2020-09-25 - After consulting my archives, I found that the organ was built in 1940. Dan Garland's refurbishing of the instrument was accomplished in 1974 using the original console. The console was replaced with a new Schantz console in 1985, and assigned Schantz opus number 1797. -Jeffery Nall
2020-09-27 - Updated through online information LTU graduate Jeffrey Nall. -- There is not much to see because there is no exposed pipework. The pipework is divided: Swell and Pedal reeds are located stage left; Great, Positiv and Pedal flues are located stage right. The console is on rollers and completely movable. The Swell Trumpet unit was added when the console was installed in 1985. It's actually a French trompette with parallel, domed shallots. The lowest two octaves (16' and 32' octaves) are electronic using Peterson's old analog system. -Jim Stettner
