2018-07-11 - The Roosevelt organ in Charlottesville Presbyterian Church was purchased sometime in 1885, for $1000. It was from a church which wished to dispose of it because it was too small. When the Presbyterians purchased a new organ by Adam Stein in 1902, the Roosevelt was moved to the Lecture Room. Some years later, a piano was purchased, and the Roosevelt organ was sold to the Delevan [Ebenezer] Black Church. --Charlottesville Presbyterian Church History book -Database Manager
