2008-06-24 - Updated through on-line information from jeffrey h smith. -- Mechanical swell "shoe-shape" pedal, upper right side placement // hitchdown gt/gt 4' coupler // pedal compass 25 notes but only plays lowest 13 notes (lowest octave) of Bourdon 16' the pipes for which are behind the case. If the remaining 12 pipes (upper octave) are in the case or if the design was to transfer them from the bottom of the Gt Bourdon 8' in either scenario the upper octave does not play, although when the Pedal Coupler is engaged the pedal clavier does play all 25 notes from Gt properly. Other than that quirk the instrument is SPLENDID condition --mechanically, visually (gorgeous stenciling) and tuning-wise. A testimony to a small congregation's commitment to supporting a fine instrument. -Database Manager

2023-02-09 - Due to costs that exceeded the dwindling congregation's ability to sustain, the church closed after 187 years of service to the community. The last worship service was held Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014. The historic 1875 Geo. H. Ryder organ found a new home in 2015. -Jim Stettner
