Notes

2018-07-03 - Updated by Vic Marsilio, who maintains the organ.<br> This instrument was moved from the original church in approximately 1967 from a Gothic Structure with an Echo Division to a modern building, without the Echo. The Echo chest was purposed in the Great Division. The added Great III-IV Mixture is very difficult to access and tune as a result. The same holds true for the 2' Prinzipal added in the Choir. It is still a beautiful instrument, easily serviced and tuned (with the exception of the above) and performs very well in the room. The console is a joy to play and maintains its original A/S presence. It is a shame that both 8' Vox Humana ranks have been removed as well as the 8' French Trumpet (now replaced with a newer Trumpet of undocumented origin in the Great). The Organ and Console feature a Peterson MSP system that has been meticulously installed with all options included. The tonal additions truly match the original integrity of A/S and blend well. It is a disappointment that the Echo was discarded, even though there are 2 blank knobs per division and it appears that the couplers could have been expanded. All extension pipes (62-73) throughout the organ have been removed. The Great 8' Gemshorn has been re-pitched to 4', the Choir 8' tc Unda Maris has been removed, the Echo Spitz Flute was moved to the Choir and the Choir 8' Orchestral Flute was discarded. The Pedal 32' Resultant was discarded as well as the Swell 8' Viole Aetheria. Again, the tonal additions are excellent, I am just disappointed that so much was removed. -Database Manager
