2018-10-16 - This entry describes a new home for an organ that was relocated without either tonal or mechanical changes.
Identified by James R. Stettner, listing this web site as a source of information: https://www.pipeorgandatabase.org/OrganDetails.php?OrganID=6362.
According to notes on the other related OHS Database accounts, The organ was saved from the dump in 1988 by Loren Dees of Ellsworth, Kansas. It was installed and completely restored by Mr. Dees in the third floor ballroom of his historic house in Ellsworth. In 2006, the organ was given to the Ellsworth County Historical Society and was removed by David Rankin, Ted Landon and a number of Ellsworth Volunteer firemen and placed in storage. It was then re-assembled in the former grand hall of the masonic lodge, which is now part of the Ellsworth Antique Mall. Completion date was scheduled for the 140th birthday celebration of Ellsworth on the last weekend of September, 2007. -Database Manager
