2018-10-18 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. <br>Identified by James R. Stettner, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Chris Rini of Huntington Beach, CA. who read about it in period newspapers.<br>After being told about the organ by Chris Rini, I went to the parish website and found an online history of the parish [http://www.sacredheartchurchla.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/History-125th-English.pdf] which indicates, "By this time the church tower and spire had been completed and the stained glass windows had been set. The main altar was decorated with ivory and gold and the communion table was set in the center with a relief of the Last Supper facing the congregation. Statues of saints were set at various places on the altar. The floor was covered with carpeting. Even a pipe organ was installed." -Database Manager
