2019-02-16 - This entry describes alterations to an existing organ. <br>Identified by James R. Stettner, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Kilgen Kilgen. . James R. Stettner also gave this as a source of information: This console was listed for sale on Facebook 'Pipe Organ Garage Sale'. After seeing the Facebook console listing, I contacted the church and entered into correspondence with a member who will be providing photos for the Database. A stoplist has also been extracted from the console and chamber photos..<br>This was the addition of a new 4'/2' Principal unit on the Swell, replacing the original unified 2-2/3' Nasard and 2' Flautino. The Pedal 8' Bass Flute was also rewired as a 4' Principal. -Database Manager

NOTES
The Kilgen was installed in a chamber on the front, left side of the sanctuary
with the console placed directly in front of the grille and the organist facing
the congregation. Access to the chamber was through a door in the chancel.
At an unknown time, a 4'/2' Principal unit was added to the Swell – replacing the
original unified 2-2/3' Nasard and 2' Flautino.
In June 2015, the church elected to replace their Kilgen pipe organ with an
appliance. The pipes were crated and taken by an unnamed person or firm for reuse.
The console was stored in a garage for several years, and listed for sale on
Facebook 'Pipe Organ Garage Sale' in September 2018. It's subsequent disposition
is unknown. The other components like windchests, regulators, expression shutters,
etc. were presumably consigned to the dump.
