2019-10-10 - From Robert Nichols, Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church, Evansville, Indiana, and Dean of the Evansville Chapter of the AGO. — Evansville, Indiana, AGO chapter acquired a 1M/P Edmund Giesecke instrument made c1885-1890, in 2016 from a family that bought a disused church in Maumee, Ohio. Restoration was completed by Taylor and Boody Organbuilders in 2018. The restored organ is installed in the front of First Presbyterian Church, Evansville, Indiana, where is serves as a second instrument, the Church has a Fiske in the rear gallery. This is one of only five surviving Giesecke organs. -Database Manager
