All the existing windchests were replaced with new pitman windchests and complete major alterations to the pipe scales and the overall specification of the instrument were made. While completing these projects careful attention was given to the layout of the instrument to improve tuning and maintenance access. The Principals 8’, 4’, and 2’ on the Great division were replaced with new pipework of proper scales. A new 8’ Trumpet with tapered shallots replaced the existing Great Trumpet. This stop plays at 8’ and 4’ on the Great. The Swell 8’ Principal was replaced as indicated in the stop list. A new 16’ and 8’ Trumpet with English shallots was added to the Swell division replacing the existing chorus reeds. New Principals 8’ and 2’ were added to the Positiv division. A new high-pressure English Hooded Festival Trumpet was installed in the Positiv division. All existing flue and reed pipework were revoiced and in some cases rescaled to allow for a proper ensemble. The 32’ stops in the pedal and the bottom octave of the Swell Trumpet 16’, Principal 8’, as well as the Harp and Chimes are digitally manufactured by Walker Technical Company. The new control system for the entire instrument is the ICS 4000 manufactured by Peterson Electro-Musical Products. It incorporates multiple memory levels, programmable Crescendos, transposer, and record/playback systems. Additional drawknobs were added as necessary to accommodate the expanded stop list.
