2020-06-04 - From a church bulletin dated May 4th, 1958. "The voters' assembly in a special meeting last Monday granted permission to the Senior Choir to purchase a second-hand pipe organ from Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and have the same installed in Hosanna-Tabor. The choir will see to it that the necessary funds will be raised without disurbing the regular income of the congregation. The estimated cost of the organ including the purchase price, the moving, the installation, etc., is about $4,500. Monies in the pipe organ Fund, sale of the old organ, etc., amounts to about $1,500; actually needed-- about $3,000. This will give us a $20,000 organ. -Roman Lizak
2020-06-04 - From a church bulletin dated May 25th, 1958 "The Installation of the Organ is progessing very rapidly. The contributions have come in very nicely also; the choir members are very happy that so many people have shown active interest. Have you returned your envelope? Perhaps you have not enough cash on hand. The choir has made provision for that situation. They are ready to supply you with Quarter Banks, which when filled will contain $10.00. Members of the choir will be ready to supply you with one of the banks after both services this morning. They will not force themselves upon you; if you desire to fill one of the banks, ask the members for one." -Roman Lizak
2020-06-04 - From a church bulletin dated June 8th, 1958 "Our pipe organ is coming closer to a realization every day. The builder is making fine progress. Those wanting an additional envelope can get one in the office. The "quarter banks" are still available from choir members fior those who wish to fill one with 40 quarters." -Roman Lizak
2020-06-04 - From a church bulletin dated June 15th, 1958 "Our new organ will be dedicated next Sunday, June 22nd. The dedication will take place in both services, the 9:15 and the 10:45. There will be identical services. We hope that every member of Hosanna-Tabor will avail himself or herself of this opportunity of thanking God for this additional gift. To give the Sunday School children the Opportunity of attending, there will be no class sessions that morning." -Roman Lizak
