2011-09-17 - Updated through online information from Geoffrey Brown. -- Circa 2001, Trinity Church sold this organ to a rebuilder in the Springfield, MA area and replaced it with a digital instrument. Due to lack of maintenance the Johnson had become unreliable, and its installation violated building codes (partially blocked emergency egress). Cost to repair/rebuild and cure code issues was estimated at the time at $250,000. -Database Manager
