Notes

2021-01-08 - Identified through online information from Peter Olson of The Lutheran High School of Kansas City. -- This organ was originally built for an AGO Convention in Denver, Colorado, and it was briefly installed in Whatley Chapel at Denver Women's College. Shortly thereafter it was relocated to St. James Episcopal Church in LaGrange, Texas. When it was replaced there ca. 2007, it was acquired by the Quimby Organ Co. for installation in a chapel to-be-built at Holy Cross Lutheran in Kansas City. The church has a large McManis in their sanctuary. But the chapel never materialized, and the organ was placed in storage. It was gifted to the Lutheran High School of Kansas City for their auditorium, and scheduled to be installed there by Quimby in early 2021. -Jim Stettner
