Notes

2021-10-14 - From *1989 OHS Handbook:* "...what actually happened in 1933 was that Austin Op. 868, 1919, a three-manual instrument of about 11 ranks, originally built for the New Orleans residence of F. J. Foxely, was installed inside the 1893 Pilcher case. Whether any pipes from the Pilcher were substituted for Austin pipes, we do not know. In 1950, M. P. Moller installed a new three-manual electro-pneumatic organ, Op. 8158, in the Cathedral. According to the Moller records, what they replaced was a 13- or 14- slop Austin. Thus, it is possible that two or three ranks from the 1893 organ were added to the Austin in 1933, but no more than that." -Paul R. Marchesano
