2022-01-20 - This entry represents the moving and reinstallation on an existing (used) instrument in a new location by the existing owner. The original organ was a Wm. Wood Pipe Organ Co., Inc. instrument of undocumented origins installed by Balcom and Vaughan of Seattle, Washington in Good Samaritan Episcopal Church in Corvallis, Oregon in 1944 with a new Kimball console. It as acquired by the Charmins ca. 1961 when the church built a new edifice and acquired a new pipe organ. When the Charmins moved to new home in Portland in 1972, the organ was moved along. Despite a new chamber room being built, it was never reinstalled, and has sat in storage in the home for 49 years. Now (2022), Mrs. Charmin is moving to a retirement situation and the organ needs to find a new home. At some point over the years, a toy counter was acquired. The console has no stops controls for percussions and traps, so it may have never been connected. -Jim Stettner
