2023-01-19 - The large brick church from 1905 burned leaving nothing but the walls standing in February of 1969. The new contemporary church was consecrated on Nov. 7, 1971. The functionally exposed organ is cantilevered on the wall above and behind the free-standing altar. Like the Schlicker unit organs whose design it closely emulates, the Principal chorus and Pedal bass is unenclosed and the accompanimental voices and reed are enclosed in a large swell box situated behind a decorative grill. -Scot Huntington
