2023-02-26 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. It was in servce at the church a scant eight years before it was sold to First Congregational in Zumbrata, Minnesota and replaced with a new 3-manual Johnson & Son organ Op. 654 in 1886. From the 'History' page of the Zumbrota congregation's website,* "The current organ was purchased from the Winona Congregational Church in 1885 for $700. The organ was built in 1867 by the Steere and Turner Company and is believed to be the oldest pipe organ in Minnesota in regular use."* -Jim Stettner
