2024-01-12 - From *The Standard* (St. Catharines, ON): "The old pipe organ at St. Mark's Church, Niagara-on-the-Lake, has been renovated by the Keats [sic] Organ Co. of Lucan, Ont., and is now, according to organist Ross A. Short, in very good shape. This renovating is the first stage of a program which will eventually renew everything but the pipes and will even add a few more ranks of those. The present work has consisted of installing a new console with electric action and a new blower. St. Mark's organ was put in in the 1880s, replacing an older organ. It has been reworked and repaired at various times since. Some of the stops are unique in their tonal beauty." A number of ranks of pipes from this instrument were incorporated into the new Delaware Organ in 1964. -Andrew Henderson
