2024-01-12 - From *The Spectator *(Hamilton, November 28, 1878): "The new organ of the new M.E. church in this city is a handsome and excellent instrument. It has two complete manuals, CC to G, 56 notes; a full compass pedal organ, CCC to C, 25 notes, with the following couplers: 16. Swell to Great Organ, 17. Great Organ to Pedals, 18. Swell Organ to Pedals, 2 octaves of pedals, 2 composition pedals, chestnut and walnut case, with decorated front pipes; height 17 feet; width, 12 feet; depth 7 feet." -Andrew Henderson

2024-10-24 - The church was renamed Gore Street Methodist Church in the 1880s. Gore Street was later renamed Wilson Street. -Paul R. Marchesano
