2024-04-16 - Submitted by Sam Wessel with stoplist: According to past OHS entries and the builder's website, the organ was an 1881 (1882 and 1888 are also seen in OHS entries) that was moved when the present church was built and incorporated into a larger, new Wangerin organ in 1913. Peters, Weiland, and Company made some tonal modifications and releathered the organ in 1997. Then Nolte Organ Building fully rebuilt and expanded the organ in 2016-17, including new pitman chests for the great division which had failed. The organ sits in the gallery, with the great to the right of the back window, and the swell and pedal to the left, with a detached console in the center near the balcony railing. Facade pipes are painted gold and it is likely that some are decorative and non-speaking. Unsure of couplers, website says "all normal couplers," MIDI, and a swell tremulant are available. -Paul R.
