Notes

2024-08-13 - Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (August 13, 2024): From the Buffalo Courier (December 8, 1860): “The Rochester Democrat says ‘the new organ built by Mr. House, of Buffalo, for the First Baptist Church of this city, is now in its place, and was exhibited to the public Thursday evening, when its fine points were brought out by different organists. It is a large and excellent instrument, of powerful tone and extensive range, well adapted to the church in which it is placed. The case is quite plain, consistent with the architecture of the house.” -Andrew Henderson
