2024-09-18 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (September 10, 2024). Confirmed from the New York City Organ Project website which states, "The original organ in St. Leo's Church was built in 1906 by Reuben Midmer & Sons of Brooklyn, at a reported cost of $2,000. < snip > Manual compasses were not given, but Tully indicated the Pedal Bourdon had 30 pipes. The instrument was installed in one central case that measured about 7 feet 2 inches deep by 17 feet high by 12.5 feet wide. The console contained components manufactured by Klann Organ Supply Co. In May 1991, the organ was removed by Alan Laufman of the Organ Clearing House." -Jim Stettner
