2024-10-19 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (October 18, 2024): From The Halifax Herald (October 30, 1894): "Organ For Sale: The musical committee have received instructions from the Wardens and Vestry of St. Luke's to dispose of the pipe organ (Walker) now standing in St. Luke's Cathedral, Halifax. It has two manuals and two octaves of pedals." -Andrew Henderson

2024-10-19 - The date of installation is not known, but conjectured to have possibly coincided with the completion of the chancel in 1864. -Andrew Henderson

2024-10-20 - The building was destroyed by fire in 1905. Identified from the present Cathedral website. -Jim Stettner
