2025-03-22 - The organ was meticulously restored in 2024-25 by the Greenleaf Organ Co. A post on their Facebook page on March 22, 2025 states, "We recently completed work to breathe new life into this beautiful two manual, thirty rank instrument designed by Walter Holtkamp, Sr., and completed by his successors in 1967 (Job No. 1811). Scott R. Riedel & Associates developed the scope of work and provided exemplary leadership throughout the project. All console components were meticulously restored in our shop, with particular care taken to retain the original stop/coupler tablets and pistons in the course of a modern control system addition. The organ was fully re-leathered, including eight reservoirs, and all pneumatic actions. The blowing plant, originally installed in an unconditioned attic, was reinstalled in an insulated attic enclosure, with a new HVAC system designed to bring conditioned air through the space. We also restored the pipework, including cleaning and careful restorative revoicing, aimed solely at retaining the original voicing left by Holtkamp. We are deeply appreciative to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in River Hills, Wisconsin and especially to Director of Music Christian Rich and Fr. Geoffrey Ward." -Jim Stettner
