NOTES
This organ was originally built for the Masonic Temple in Hartford, CT. which
first help meetings in September 1895 and was dedicated in 1896. When this
facility closed, the organ was sold in 1982 through the Organ Clearing House
and reinstlled at First Lutheran Church in Ellington, CT. by parishioners
under the guidance of Thad H.H. Outerbridge of Beverely, MA.

The organ was free-standing and encased with a 7-sectional facade containing
55 stenciled pipes arranged: 6-6-4-23-4-6-6 with the outer two 6's being flats
at the side of the case, and the next two 6's being round towers. The keydesk
was attached and projecting with a lid that lifted to form a music rack. Stops
were as drawknobs in terraced jambs. The Pedal 16' Sub Bass was diatonically
divided at the sides of the case.
