2025-05-17 - According to the Lincoln Post Express (November 7, 1962): "While the parish was anticipating the advent of a new organ, a representative of the Dominion Government appeared almost miraculously from the clouds, to point out that in the old pipe organ (which had come from St. George's Church, Hamilton, where it was already a second-hand instrument), the Parish had an example of early Canadian craftsmanship, which, all unnoticed by the congregation, had become a valuable antique estimated to be over one hundred years old, and which the National Museum at Ottawa wanted to acquire. It has subsequently been dismantled and removed to Ottawa where it will eventually be renovated and displayed." -Andrew Henderson
