Notes

2006-01-01 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- Originally, the organ had façade pipes visible, but these were covered-over in a 1950s sanctuary renovation. The Möller was replaced in 1991 by a new Balcom and Vaughan instrument. The Möller was essentially broken-up for parts. Some of the pipes were retained and rescaled. One of the chests went to a Baptist church in Camas, Washington, and a 3-rank chest went to Chehalis United Methodist in Chehalis, Washington. Disposition of the console is unknown. -Database Manager

NOTES
The exact nomenclature of stops and controls on this instrument is not verified. The
information presented here is from the files of Balcom and Vaughan of Seattle, Wash-
ington. The organ was inspected by C.M. “Sandy” Balcom on April 13, 1947, and this is
what he recorded.

Originally, there was a visible pipe facade, but that was covered-over during a 1950's
sanctuary renovation. In later years, Balcom and Vaughan made some additions to the
organ.

The Möller was replaced in 1991 by a new 2-manual, 37-rank organ built by Balcom and
Vaughan Pipe Organs, Inc. Some of the Möller and other added pipework was retained,
rescaled & revoiced, then incorporated into the new instrument.
