2006-02-11 - Identified through online information from Dr. Gregory Hamilton. -- Aeolian-Skinner Opus 1007 was originially in Christ Church Episcopal, Cambridge, Massachusetts. The organ is due to be installed in St. Theresa Catholic Church, Sugar Land (Houston), Texas in December 2006. The organ will receive several new stops, including a 8' Great Harmonic Trumpet, and a 8' Great Harmonic Flute. There will be a new console with Peterson sequencing items. The organ orginally had 48 ranks over three manuals, and will have 51 ranks. The organ is being renovated and rebuilt by the Quimby Organ company. The new instrument will feature slider chests, and will be encased in two cases on either side of the altar, designed as part of a new facade and altar screen by the architect Duncan Stroyik and the present pastor, Fr.
