2017-06-26 - Updated by William Dunklin, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Bradley Rule, B Rule & Company.<br> The Amenia United Presbyterian Church closed in 2016. The organ was offered for free to anyone who would remove it. In June 2017 B Rule & Company of New Market, Tennessee, removed the organ and have placed it in storage pending renovation for St. Paul Presbyterian Church, Knoxville, Tennessee. The organ's availability was publicized through the Organ Clearing House. -Database Manager

This organ is in original condition save for minor alterations by John J. Smith & Sons in 1928, including new stop 
knob facings, centering the swell pedal, and adding a concave, radiating pedalboard. The original stenciling 
has been over-painted at some point. This organ is exceptional in that it plays into two rooms, both the Sanctuary 
and the Parish Hall, used for large crowds. Shortly after completing this organ Jardine began work on the Grand Organ 
for the new St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. Because of its bold choruses it is known locally as \"Big Bertha.\"
