Notes

2008-07-17 - Identified from factory documents and publications courtesy of Stephen Schnurr: Rebuilt by Schlicker Organ Co. of Buffalo in 1972 and moved from Old Mason Hall to New Mason Hall. Keyboards replaced, Great enclosure removed, Diapason, Gedeckt, and Larigot units revoiced, and specification redistributed with same number of ranks and stops as opus 8898. The organ became disused in the mid-1980-s as the organ department had been phased out. This organ, opus 10896, and a Schlicker organ were de-accessioned by the University, sold in trade for a piano in 2005. The piano dealer resold opus 8898 to Randall Wagner of Erie, Pennsylvania, for use in his residence instrument. -Database Manager
