2013-05-23 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by John Speller, using information found in Information from Pictorial and Biographical Memoirs of Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties, Indiana (1893) p. 286, where there is a partial list of Louis Van H. Dinter-s organs.. -- The above source notes that Louis H. Van Dinter built organs in Detroit, Michigan, between 1870 and 1877, before moving to Mishawaka, Indiana. The church was built in 1857. -Database Manager
