2014-07-17 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Andrew Henderson, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- Original organ facade altered in 1967 with cantilevered Great division and substitution of one rank of pipes (Dubay Organ Co.); two Mixture stops added and various small alterations made by Keates-Geissler in 1979.<br> Console replaced in 2004 by Dodington & Dodington, utilizing a refurbished, used Casavant console, in addition to cleaning and repairs to reservoirs and switching systems as a result of fire damage on November 20, 2004, undertaken between 2005-2007. -Database Manager
2014-07-28 - Updated through online information from Andrew Henderson. -- The original organ case and facade was retained from the previous organ (1848 Vogt, moved to Thorold in 1884, rebuilt by Legge in 1918 and reused for an entirely new instrument by Warren in 1922). In 1967, the casework was fashioned from the rood screen, with the Great division cantilevered into the nave. -Database Manager
