2014-08-06 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by Timothy E. Conyers, using information found in Manuscript, *History of St. Paul's Episcopal Church* by Lulu M. Likens, June 1906. -- The instrument was originally at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Richmond, Indiana, from 1858 to 1892. A history of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, written June 1906, by Lulu M. Likens, records, *"It proved to be one of the best organs ever used in Richmond. It was later sold to St. Mary's Catholic church, [Richmond, Indiana] where it is still used."* When the present St. Mary's Church was built in 1909 at 720 North A Street, the organ was supposedly moved to the new building. -Database Manager
